Stacey Smythe

For over three decades, Stacey Smythe has built her career around helping individuals and families navigate some of life's most challenging transitions. A respected and accomplished attorney in Family Law and Estate Planning, Stacey combines litigation skill, mediation expertise, and a deeply client-centered approach to deliver outcomes that are both legally sound and personally meaningful.
Stacey is known for helping clients understand their rights, empowering them to make informed decisions, and fiercely protecting their interests—whether through negotiation or in the courtroom. She is also a Certified Advanced Divorce Mediator, using her deep legal experience to structure creative, durable settlements for both represented and self-represented parties.
Her legal career began in partnership with her father at Smythe & Smythe, P.S., where she served families in King and Pierce Counties. After his passing, she founded Smythe Law Offices and later co-founded Smythe & Jones, PLLC. Today, Stacey continues her practice through Advocates Law Group, working with clients across Washington both in person and remotely, adapting her practice to meet modern families' needs.
