Scott Milburn

Scott Milburn is more than an attorney—he’s a legal strategist with real-world executive experience. With a background that spans commercial litigation, federal service, and C-suite operations, Scott brings clients a rare combination of legal insight and business fluency.
He began his career in the Tax Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where he was selected through the Attorney General’s Honors Program and received the 1984 Outstanding Attorney Award. After moving to Seattle, Scott worked at Karr Tuttle Campbell and later became a partner at K&L Gates, where he focused on commercial litigation for over a decade.
In 1998, he shifted his focus toward the business world—holding senior executive roles and advising startup and growth-stage companies across the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. His leadership has spanned legal affairs, strategy, operations, marketing, finance, and international business development. Since joining Advocates Law Group in 2012, Scott continues to serve as both legal counsel and business advisor to companies seeking practical, forward-thinking solutions.
